a moment worth stopping for

last friday, i was driving around getting lunch for me with logan in the back seat. while i was stopped at a red light, i looked in my rear view mirror and had a moment. a moment of utter and complete peace. a moment of pure love. all was right in the world. at least in my world. at that very moment, no worries entered my mind. no stress. in my rear view mirror, all i saw was my son. happy. smily. wonderful. my eyes welled up with tears. happy tears. i smiled from ear to ear. i love my days with loges. he's the best.

Rice Cereal

we gave logan his very first meal of rice cereal last week. he seemed to like it for the most part. here are a few pictures of logan enjoying his dinner!

Sea Life

while my parents were here for my graduation a couple of weekends ago, we checked out legoland's new aquarium, sea life. we wanted to do something new for everyone so sea life was the perfect choice. it was cute but i definitely would have rather gone to legoland. i love that place! after sea life, we all went to the carlsbad outlets. i got a new coach purse with some of my graduation money (thanks everyone!) and logan got a lot of cute new clothes. thanks grandma and papa! we love having you visit us! here are a few pictures from our day.

Graduation!

i finally graduated from my master's program last weekend! woohoo! my parents drove down from san jose and chris' family flew down too. we all drove out to los angeles for my ceremony and reception at 4 o'clock last Friday. our neighbors, the williams, drove out to celebrate with us too. it was nice to have so many friends and family members join in on the celebration! there were only 10 graduates out of the 13 in the program who participated in the graduation so it was nice and small. it's hard to believe we are finally done after 3 long years of hard work! myself and another student actually managed to hold onto a 4.0 gpa too! i felt such a sense of closure. yeah!
