Christmas Fun and Meeting Santa

the saturday before christmas, we had christmas with chris, amanda, nathan, emily, and uncle pat. we dressed up in christmas pajamas, opened presents, and made gingerbread houses. i know it sounds like a movie. i baked some cookies earlier too. (yes mom, i actually baked! and it was fun!)

yay! the polar express train.
nate said, "i can't believe it!"
me and loges in our pjs
"i've got something to say!"
"oh, i like this"
"thanks mommy and daddy for my dinosaur"
"i just love it!"

we took photos of the cousins all together. so cute!

we took logan to see santa. he was sound asleep while we were waiting in line. i was a bit hesitant to wake him up and hand him over to a stranger. we woke him up with enough time to get him in a good mood. he was such a good boy! later that night, we also drove around in the 'party bus' (our lexus) with the gang to look at christmas lights. our street was by far the best. (although, i might be a little biased).

later that night with mommy
hi there!
"so. . mom. . i like this christmas thing"

here's a few pictures from logan's spontaneous christmas card photo session. i was disappointed we didn't get around to taking a family photo with our beautiful harveston lake as the background. maybe next year. just the other night, when all hope was lost, i picked up chris' camera and started snapping away. . . hoping i could get just one decent photo of logan to warrant a christmas card.

such a silly boy!
merry christmas everyone! i hope you are able to spend this holiday with loved ones. we will be flying up to san jose to spend christmas with family and friends. wish us luck flying with logan!
